Alice’s love for flowers began early, rooted in her upbringing on a dairy farm where hard work and family went hand in hand. In her early 20’s she followed her mother’s suggestion that one of the 5 daughters should try flowers—and ended up buying a flower shop in Ripon. For years, she and her sisters ran the shop while she raised her three children, serving the community with floral design and wedding flowers. Even after selling the shop, Alice couldn’t stay away from flowers. With nearly four decades of floral experience, she dove in head first by planting 1,800 rose bushes and launching her rose farm, a place where her passion and expertise could truly bloom.

“I see the rose farm as a place of beauty and calm in the midst of life’s busyness, and I thank God daily for the gift of these blooms.” 

Faith, family, and flowers continue to guide her vision as she works alongside her daughter to grow roses with care and intention. With hopes of one day passing the farm to another generation of rose lovers, Alice is committed to creating a place where every bloom carries joy to everyone who receives them.
